India has always been remembered as the land of diverse cultures. The geographical location, climate and extent of exposure to foreign cultures have completely influenced the traditions and culture of different regions in different periods. The common root of all classical dance forms can be traced to the Natyashastra, known as the sage Bharata, who is believed to have lived between the 1st and 2nd centuries AD.

18 Indian languages ​​are spoken with 1600 regional dialects and linguistic lines are drawn by state borders. Besides Hindi and English, other popular languages ​​are Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Malayalam, are Marathi. Punjabi, Oriya, Telugu and Urdu
