Here are the VISA free Countries on an Indian Passport

The most stressful thing for Indians during travelling is not the ticket price, but getting the Visa prior to travelling. Indeed, majority of countries look for Visa before travelling.

Here we have brought some good news for all those who love to travel. Here are approximately 56 countries where Visa is not required. Some provide Visa on arrival and e-Visa is also allowed in few of the countries.

So, go on with your passion and enjoy at your dream destination. No need to worry about Visa anymore. You are just required to have all the documents viz. valid Indian Passport, financial proof, hotel bookings and the return tickets of course, and no one can give you  a halt to enjoy these stunning countries.

The countries which do not demand Visa are listed below:-

Jamaica, Macau, Nepal, Bhutan, Dominica , Ecuador, EI Salvador,  Grenada, Haiti, Mauritius, Micronesia, Senegal, Nepal, Saint Kiits &Nevis, Seychelles, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, Vanuatu, Fyro Macedonia, Svalbard, Montserrat, Antarctica (no Visa/except ship)

Nepal, the neighbouring country, between India and Tibet, known for its beautiful temples, mountains, which covers Mt. Everest also. Tourists also visit Kathmandu, the capital, full of Hindus and Buddhist Shrines. Around the Kathmandu Valley, you can see Buddhist stupas. We are lucky; we don’t need a Visa for a trip to Nepal.

Antarctica, the southernmost continent, at the South Pole, located in the southern hemisphere with ice- covered landmass. About 98% of Antarctica is covered with snow. About 90% of the world’s ice is available in Antarctica.  No one stays there permanently. Still about 1000-40000 people per year stay at the Antarctic Stations.  Only plants and animals specially adapted to this weather can stay here for e.g. Penguins. Lots of Tourists visit Antarctica every year. But Tourism department doesn’t allow more than 40,000 people annually. There are lot of things to do in Antarctica, like Kayak with Whales, watch penguins, Zodiac Cruising, Scuba Dive, visit to the Deception Island etc. So, if you are also a snow lover, don’t miss this golden opportunity. There are lot more to do here. And the best part is you don’t need a Visa. So, what are you still waiting for? It is fast becoming one of the most adventurous places for tourists.

Following are the countries which provide you Visa on Arrival:-

Bolivia, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Comoros, Ethiopia, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Indonesia, Jordan, Laos, Fiji,  Madagascar, Maldives, Mauritania, Palau, Saint Lucia, Somalia, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Timor –Leste, Tuvalu and  Uganda

There are some countries, which gives you Visa on arrival. Indians do not need a pre-entry Visa here.  Visa is issued upon arrival by the Immigration officers. And the best part is some countries provide 4 month Visa, and it can be extended too .For instance- Fiji, a lovely place to visit, country in the South Pacific, surrounded by thousands of islands.  It is also famous for its picturesque landscapes and scenic beauty of lakes. If you visit this beautiful place, you will get the Visa, when you land there.

Similarly, Maldives, a dream for many Indians. Officially, Republic of Maldives is a small island located in the Arabian Sea of the Indian Ocean. There are lot of things to do in Maldives. It is for everyone, whether you want to go for a relaxed holiday or you want some adventure. Maldives is the perfect place for all the travellers. You can enjoy the white sand beaches, palm trees, clear waters and also amazing sunsets. There are lot of day trips like walking tours, visit to the islands, resort trips, sunset cruise and so many things to do.

You get the Visa when you reach there. You have to fill out the form, clearly signed by you, name of the hotel where you are going to stay, passport size photographs and other documents which are required, and you will easily get the Visa for 90 days to explore and live your dreams.

Indian citizens can stay in Indonesia for up to 30 days. At the immigration office, you will get Visa Exemption Stamp. It is not really a Visa. But you should have a valid Indian Passport for 6 months.

Now, let’s come to E-Visa. It is an official document which needs to be filled online. Applicants get their Visas electronically by filling all the information and they can pay the Visa fees by debit or credit card (Master card, Visa or Union Pay).

Bahrain, Cote d’Ivoire, Gabon, Georgia, Kenya, Moldova, Myanmar, Rwanda, Sao Tome & Principe, Zambia and Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe, a landlocked country in Southern Africa known for its diverse wildlife, rough landscapes, safari areas etc.  If you love adventures, you can do river-rafting and bungee-jumping here. Zimbabwe has recorded above 2.4 million tourists every year. Tourists love the beauty of waterfalls here like Victoria Waterfalls. And lot of national parks and reserves also attract lot of tourism every year. If you are traveling  to Zimbabwe, you can either get e-Visa or you can also get it at the airport on arrival.
